Chen Hong'mei looked at them, smiled and sighed. She thought about her deceased husband.  She spoiled her son too much by letting him go down this path, and she wondered if her husband would be angered or not. She also didn't want to force her child to give her a grandson.

Zong Xiao'mo seemed to know what she was thinking, and quietly held her hand. She spoke cheerfully, "Mom, it's okay, there’s still me! I’ll marry someone and bring him back, and then give birth to four, five or six children and then give half of them over to my brother!"

This made Chen Hong'mei laugh and she rubbed her daughter’s head, "Silly girl."

Zong Xiao'mo was not stupid. She knew who paid for all of the new electrical appliances and furniture in her house. She remembered the good things that Sheng'yan did, but she didn’t know how to repay him. The only thing she could think of was to give them one of her children so that they would have someone to depend on when they grow older.

The first step was to find a husband who can join her family and take on her family’s last name. Hahaha.

The flight was set to be two days later. The first stop was a beautiful city in the south near the sea. Chen Hong'mei and Zong Xiao'mo had never been on a plane before, and they were so nervous. Jiang Sheng'yan thought that Zong Yuan would react the same as them. Before he had the chance to tease him, he saw that Zong Yuan skillfully completed the whole process with a calm demeanor.

He kissed Jiang Sheng'yan, who was feeling a bit dizzy, from his hand up to his head. His voice was deep, "And also, pay you back with love."

Jiang Sheng'yan spaced out for at least five minutes. After snapping back to his senses, he jumped out of bed violently. The soreness on his body disappeared in an instant. He threw a set of clothes to Zong Yuan and hurriedly urged, "Get up and go buy a ring with me!"

He was scared that if he delayed for even a minute, Zong Yuan would have time to reconsider and regret it.

When a small silver ring was completely on his finger, the joyful voice of 0046 sounded, "Zong Yuan, you succeeded!!!"

This is a Chinese character that is used on the internet to symbolize giving someone the middle finger because of how the character looks. 

2. That person 

Xiao’mo actually uses the pronoun “he” when talking about Jiang Sheng’yan, but in Chinese, the words “he” and “she” sounds the same despite being two different words.

To keep the gender ambiguous, I translated “he” as “that person” and ““their”. 

3. partner/ significant other

Xiao’mo actually called Jiang Sheng’yan as sister-in-law, but once again, to be more gender ambiguous in front of Er’ya, I changed the phrase to “partner” and s/o.
